All the info below is no longer needed as MSN has change things once again!

Just press the <HTML> button, then copy and paste this code:

(make sure to include quotes... it will disappear after you publish blog)

...then carry on with the rest of your blog contents... then publish!!!

oh!....one last thing before i forget...you should have a music file stored somewhere on the internet.... so i recommend: www.anywhereenterprises.com .... ( please be sure to refer me under the name youjoking ...ok... it would be much appreciated, thanks .) After you've loaded your music file there, just copy the file address and paste it right between the "" (quotes) then preview blog to see if music is there...good luck!

How To - Add music/video to your MSN space

In order to add cool features like music or video to your MSN space, you need to be able to edit blog entries using HTML rather than rich text (which is the standard mode). In order to enable HTML editing, please go here and follow the instructions.

Once HTML editing is enabled you can insert HTML code into your blog entries and thus enable music and video. You should note that any HTML code you use to call a piece of music will only play while that blog entry is visible.

Music code example: <img dynsrc=http://www.mikestrickland.net/reggae/waitinginvain.mid width=1 height=1 alt="Waiting in Vain...">..... that is <img dynsrc = "your url address here.mp3">

Tip: Annoyed by the music on someone's space? Press the Esc key to switch it off.

Video code example: <img start=mouseover height=240 alt="MSN Spaces -- the Video" dynsrc="http://idisk.mac.com/jahorne/Public/powered_by_300.wmv" width=320 border=2>

Note: You can only use music and video that is stored online and currently only the following video file types are supported, .wmv .asf
